Oooh, I'm just about jumping up and down with excitement about the books that landed on my doormat this week. Heck, why am I saying 'just about'? Actual jumping up and down occured. If I had any coordination whatsoever, I'd call it a happy dance.

The Face On The Milk Carton - Caroline B. Cooney

The little girl on the milk carton stared back at Janie... an ordinary little girl, a three year old who had been kidnapped twelve years ago from a shopping mall in New Jersey.

Fifteen year old Janie can't believe that her loving parents kidnapped her, until she begins to piece together things that don't make sense. Why are there no pictures of Janie before she was four? Why is the dress in the photo in her house? Something is terribly wrong and Janie is almost too afraid to find out the truth.

I love rereading old favourites like this one. But since I had a major library habit as a teen, I don't own most of my old favourites. This one's like a nineties version of Sophie MacKenzie's Girl, Missing.

Awesomely, I won something!!! And, it's a book!!! And, it's The Hollow by Jessica Verday!!! I've now read such differing reviews of this one that I really don't know what to expect. I'm intrigued.
