In My Mailbox (41)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

I received quite a few review books this week. Since I was expecting most of them, I put myself on a strict book-buying diet to try to stop my TBR pile getting totally out of control. (Which probably means that I'll be splurging next week, but what's a girl to do?) All links go to Goodreads.com.

Dido - Adele Geras
I love my fairytale retellings, so I'm intrigued by this retelling of the classical story of Dido. Thank you to David Fickling Books for this one.
I really liked Drama Girl, the last book in the Secrets At St. Jude's series (review here), so I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks Random House for this.

Dark Secrets 2
- Elizabeth Chandler
The first Dark Secrets compilation was a surprise hit with me (review here). I'm psyched to read the next shivery instalment! Thanks S&S.

Wicked: Resurrection
- Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie
(not pictured)
Witches! In other words, what's not to like? Thanks S&S.

Fortune
- Megan Cole
This looks like a super glamorous and fun beach read. Thank you to HarperCollins.
I've heard great things about this author. Thanks Scholastic for this one.
What can I say? I have history with the good ol' BSC, so this prequel to the series was always going to be a must-read for me. Thanks again to Scholastic.

So.... what did everyone else get in the mail this week?

Okay, I must comment on this post because I feel really bad about not commenting on any of your posts this week. Great books- I am quite jealous.

This list is like mine - somewhat restrained ;) I'm interested in reading Dido too and picked up a copy last week. I didn't realise it was a fairytale retelling though :)

Great books you've got there. I adore fairy tale retellings as well, but haven't had the pleasure of reading Geras' books yet. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.
