In My Mailbox (46)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

You know what? I had an amazing week for review books. Everything I received appeals to me, in completely different ways. Sadly, none of the books I'd ordered online showed up yet, but I have enough here to keep me busy alright. All links go to Goodreads.com.

For review:
Shade - Jeri Smith-Ready
Can I just say that I'm thrilled that the Simon Pulse imprint has now come to the UK? I've been wanting to read Shade for a while, so seeing this one arrive in my mail had me doing my happy dance. Luckily, there were no witnesses. Thank you S&S UK. Or: *squeal*.
Claire de Lune - Christine Johnson
Another Simon Pulse offering, and another one I've been super excited about. I WoWed it back in December when I first heard about it, and I've been looking forward to it ever since. Yep, I love me some werewolves. Thanks again to S&S UK.
Now this one arrived earlier in the week with little customised rolls of Love Hearts, which I thought was a really cute idea. (Not pictured, because I've eaten them.) Thanks Red Fox / Random House for this one.
The Necromancer - Michael Scott
This one was a surprise from Random House, and it's the fourth book in a series so I'm hoping it's not too hard to catch up on. (Being an ignoramous, I thought a certain gazillionaire British author invented Nicholas Flamel, but apparently she did NOT.) This sounds awesome, so thanks again Random House.
Trash - Andy Mulligan
I hadn't heard anything at all about this one until it arrived, but it has this feeling of *event* about it that makes me expect to find something amazing between these covers. Thank you David Fickling Books / Random House.
What did y'all get?

I agree with two things: that is a VERY good week, and S&S do indeed rock!

I've got a feeling you'll love Shade, and Star Crosses is a fun read too. And yes, Trash does seem like a bit of an event. I loved the packaging it came in!

Happy reading Lauren :)

The new Clare de Lune cover is so different than the one I have. I actually like yours more. But, mine is signed and I guess I can live with that!

Okay, I just had a body shiver while reading about the last book you mentioned. Trash? As in, the book I've been vainly stalking the internet for any news about since I first heard of it a few months ago? That Trash?? I am soo jealous!! Gah! Come see my post on Wednesday and you'll see what I mean. (: (Oh, Gods of YA, please send me a copy of Trash asap!!)
